Personal Training Bearsden - Testimonial

Personal Training Testimonal - Bearsden Glasgow

For 5 years I had been trying, without success, to lose weight and get fit.  I would join a gym, pay the membership, turn up regularly for the first couple of months then lose motivation and give up.

There is nothing like photographic evidence to focus the mind and, after a holiday in Mallorca last November, I had to face the fact that I had to do something NOW or continue to get fatter and more unhealthy by the month.  My blood pressure was high and I couldn’t walk up stairs without getting breathless.

With an important family celebration coming up in February, I decided that I needed more support than I could get at a gym and asked friends if anyone could recommend a personal trainer in Bearsden.  I was recommended to contact G1 personal training.

From the first personal training session with Gareth I knew I had made the right move.  He helped me to realise that health and fitness is more than just reducing calories, but is about dedication to enjoyable exercise and healthy eating.

Our weekly personal training sessions concentrate on cardio training as well as resistance training with weights - and even boxing – which I really enjoy!  I also have the confidence and motivation now to join in with classes at my local gym.  So far I have tried (and enjoyed!) spin, zumba and body attack.

It is still early days for me but to date I have lost 10lbs in weight, my clothes fit me better, my blood pressure has lowered and stairs are no longer a problem. If you too find yourself in a motivational rut as far as health and fitness are concerned then I highly recommend G1 Personal Training to you – you have nothing to lose but your old unhealthy habits!
